Notes:

These are a couple misc things you need to do in Wordpress before you start posting and customizing:

-Get your users all to be Admins so they can edit the blog fully.

-Change your permalinks to be text based (better for Google to find you) rather than number based (just lame).

-Activate and customize the Plug-Ins you installed and one extra default one that keeps spam from appearing in comments.

4 - Create Mulitple Feeds, Get Feed Stats etc.

click to play (runtime-11:46, size-56mb)

Notes:

sorry about some choppy editing! this was a long one, so i cut it up.

this tutorial will show you how to get your blog to create multiple RSS feeds for people to subcribe to in applications like Democracy Player, FireAnt or iTunes. These feeds will give people the choice between Quicktime video or Windows Media. People like the choice. Also we'll be running these default feeds through feedburner.com so we can get statistics about how many people are subscribed.

5 - Random Header

6 - Customize!

click to play (runtime-14:09, size-70mb)

Notes:

This tutorial will show you how to customize colors and images.

7 - Page Header Pages

click to play (runtime-2:17, size-9.3mb)

Notes:

This tutorial will show you how to make pages to coordinate with the header links.

8 - Upload to Blip.tv and Post Video to Blog

click to play (runtime-23:24, size-79mb)

Notes:

This tutorial will show you how to upload your videos to Blip.tv and post them on the blog. Pretty sweet.

this is the info you'll need when filling out the enclosure field:

You'll need an enclosure field for each media type. The value field gets filled in with this info:

Line 1 is the URL to the file.

Line 2 is the size in bytes of the file.

Line 3 is the mime type of the file. (mov, mp4, m4v -> video/quicktime , wmv -> video/x-ms-wmv , flv -> video/x-flv)

Line 4 is the "platform" of the file (QuickTime, iTunes, Windows Media, Flash)

Line 5 tells you if it should be displayed or not. [show/noshow]

Line 6 is the width (Typically 320)

Line 7 is the height (Typically 240 + 16(for the player)= 256 (QuickTime & Flash); 240 + 46 = 286 (Windows Media)).

an example of all the info going into the field would look like these:
